Durukan is a law firm founded in 1968 and has been providing legal services to its clients on matters of Turkish law ever since.
As being one of the oldest law firms in Turkey, Durukan proudly holds its existence due to the quality of services providing to its clients. From the foundation of the Firm, the strategy has been to take the time to fully understand the needs of our clients and to meet those needs in the most efficient way possible. We believe in partnerships and long-term relationships, and we invest in client development.
Our aim is to be our clients’ trusted advisors and adding value to their businesses, just as they add value to ours. The only way to realize this goal is by having a deep understanding of the business of each and every client we have. Durukan is a full-service law firm and is organized into two divisions: Consultancy and Dispute Resolution.
Attorneys from the divisions work collaboratively to provide clients with the legal assistance they require, allowing clients to benefit from knowledge across many legal areas and sectors.
Each of the three main divisions has subdivisions as the business of our clients requires specialization in different disciplines of law.
The services provided by the consultancy division vary based on the business of our clientele. We focus on the value that we can add and the requirements of our tasks given under each project. We provide consultancy services to our clients on a timely fashion in a most beneficial way. In consultancy the main practice teams are Banking & Finance, Insurance & Reassurance, Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A, Employment and Intellectual Property.
Just similar to subdivisions of the consultancy department, our litigation practice requires having subdivisions as our clientele and the services provided requires specifically specialized teams. The aforementioned subdivisions are Commercial Litigation, Insurance Litigation, Employment Litigation, Concordat, Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring and Debt Collection.
Our alternative dispute resolution team also provides result-oriented and timely services to its clients on many different complex disputes. We use arbitration, conciliation and mediation. Durukan Law Firm’s partners are licensed mediators registered with Turkish Ministry of Justice Mediator’s Registry.
